Eastern Peer Connector
Traci Leroux
As a Peer Connector, Traci walks alongside families as they navigate the complexities and joys of permanency. She and her partner are parents to four siblings with Indigenous heritage; their family’s journey has deepened Traci’s commitment to honouring cultural identity, connection, and healing. Through her caregiving experience, she has developed insight into supporting children and youth with diverse neurodevelopmental needs, trauma histories, and attachment challenges, always approaching this work with respect and humility. She and her family live on a small farm, where they value community, shared responsibility, and time together outdoors.
Traci’s professional background spans child and youth work, education, in-home supports, group care, and counselling. She holds a Child and Youth Worker diploma with additional learning in attachment, FASD, Inuit family perspectives, and trauma-informed parenting. She strives to support families in ways that center dignity, culture, and shared lived experience.
