Peer Connectors (IPC) Full time/Part time

Position Summary
As a Peer Connector, you will collaborate with families, service providers, Children’s Aid Societies, and First Nations, Inuit, and Métis child and family well-being agencies to provide meaningful support and guidance to adoptive, kin, and customary care parents. Your role is to empower families on their lifelong journey, ensuring they have the resources, connections, and encouragement needed to grow and belong.

Priority will be given to candidates with connections to marginalized communities, particularly those involved in child welfare or those with complex health needs. This role is especially well-suited for individuals with direct lived experience in adoption, kinship, customary care, and/or fostering.


Flexible hours:
Part-time is 15-20 hours per week | Full time is 20-35 hours per week


Community Connector

Position Summary
The Community Connector plays a vital role in engaging with child welfare organizations and key stakeholders to enhance collaboration and awareness. This position is responsible for delivering in-person and virtual presentations Children’s Aid societies, Indigenous Family well-being agencies, related service providers, and professionals that promote Interwoven Connections’ programs, services, and mission. By fostering meaningful partnerships and encouraging community engagement, the Community Connector supports the organization’s commitment to making a lasting impact.


Flexible hours:
20 hours per week

The board is accepting applications from all interested candidates but is prioritizing folks with experience in fundraising, 2SLGBTQIA+, First Nations, Metis and Inuit, and African/Caribbean-Canadian communities.
