Accessibility Policy

Interwoven Connections is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible environment in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code.

We are committed to identifying, removing, and preventing barriers to accessibility across our workplace, digital platforms, recruitment processes, and community engagement activities. We strive to ensure that all individuals—including employees, clients, and members of the public—can access our services in a respectful, equitable, and inclusive manner.

Accessibility Practices

Our accessibility practices are guided by the requirements outlined under the AODA, including the Customer Service Standards and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR).

We maintain internal policies that support compliance with these requirements, including areas such as customer service accessibility, employment practices, workplace accommodation, feedback processes, and accessible communication.

These policies are available upon request in accessible formats.

We also provide workplace accommodation supports for employees with disabilities as part of our ongoing commitment to equitable employment practices.

We are committed to providing accessible formats and communication supports upon request, in accordance with the IASR under the AODA.

We will consult with individuals to determine appropriate accessible formats or communication supports. Requests will be provided in a timely manner and at no additional cost.

While Interwoven Connections operates primarily as a remote organization, we may occasionally host or participate in in-person community events and support initiatives.

We are committed to ensuring accessibility at these events in alignment with AODA principles. Participants may request accessibility accommodations in advance, and we will work to provide appropriate supports wherever reasonably possible.
