TJ joins Interwoven Connections as a Peer Connector, bringing with her a deep commitment to supporting adoptive, kinship, and customary care families. As a parent with lived experience in public adoption and openness, she understands the emotional and practical challenges families face during the permanency journey. Her own connection with Interwoven Connections was a turning point in her family’s story, inspiring her to give back by helping others navigating similar paths.

TJ brings professional experience in collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders—including health professionals and community organizations—to improve access to services for vulnerable families. Also, as an immigrant, she brings a unique and passionate perspective to breaking systemic racial barriers and empowering families & individuals in navigating these systems.
