Sarah Van Dyk

Sarah (she/her) is a proud parent to three youth, three cats, one dog, and an undisclosed number of houseplants. Her family, built through public adoption with her partner, reflects her lived experience in neurodivergence, child welfare navigation, and openness in adoption. With a deep passion for listening to marginalized voices in Canada, Sarah is committed to lifelong learning and unlearning. She spent 20 years supporting families in the London area before joining Interwoven Connections.

Sarah holds a Developmental Service Worker diploma and a Bachelor of Social Work. She is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, providing trauma-informed, attachment-based care. Through her work with Societies across the province and Interwoven Connections, Sarah is dedicated to building bridges for parents and caregivers. Her mission is to foster connection, education, advocacy, care, and community for families on their permanency journey.
