Pamela is an experienced professional with a strong background in education. She spent nearly a decade with the Toronto District School Board as a Job Coach and Educational Assistant, supporting students with complex needs in building life skills, career readiness, and confidence.

She holds a background in Social Service Work, which has strengthened her skills in advocacy, communication, and supporting individuals through life transitions. Pamela also has a personal connection to adoption. Her husband adopted her daughter, which gives her a deep understanding of the emotional and legal challenges families may face.

As a Peer Connector, Pamela combines her professional expertise with lived experience to walk alongside adoptive, kin, and customary care families. She is passionate about creating spaces where families feel understood, encouraged, and empowered.
