Jeremie Grandbois
An international adoptee, Jeremie’s lived experience as a Korean French Canadian makes him passionate about providing impactful support for all adoptees and their families. He has over 20 years of professional experience in the arts and culture sector as a fundraiser, administrator and musician.
He is currently the Fund Development Associate at the Edmonton Opera, and his work focuses on grant writing to secure funding for Canada’s artists. In addition to a BA, Combined Honours, in Law and Philosophy, Jeremie holds a Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership, both from Carleton University. His research explored the relationship between law and technology, focusing on issues such as technological neutrality and digital liberty. He also examined the nonprofit sector’s culture and its role in re-enforcing barriers to inclusive and diverse arts education.
