Pathways to Permanency 2: Parenting Children Who Have Experienced Trauma and Loss (P2P2) is designed for caregivers where a placement has already occurred.
This program supports Kin caregivers to:
Better understand the impact of trauma and loss
Strengthen attachment and connection
Respond to challenging behaviours with confidence
Increase family stability and resilience
Eligibility: this offering is specifically for Kin in Care, Kin in Service, Customary Care Caregivers and Legal Guardians

• Delivered online via Zoom
• Eight weekly sessions
• Additional “Decoding” session available after completion
• Facilitated by ACO PACT Program trainers
• Certificate provided upon completion

This program is offered at no cost thanks to funding from the Ontario Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services in partnership with Interwoven Connections.

Notes: ⚠ Participants must be registered with Interwoven Connections’ Peer to Peer Support Network. There is no requirement to complete Pathways 1 in advance. Through a partnership with Seneca Family of Agencies, the Adoption Council of Ontario holds the exclusive Ontario license to Pathways to Permanency 2.
