Carla has extensive experience in early childhood programming, child welfare, and foster care. As a parent to three children—two biological and one adopted through public adoption with openness—she brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work.

She is passionate about building strong community partnerships and improving outcomes for children and families. Her background includes program development, case management, and leadership roles, supported by diplomas in Early Childhood Education and Resource, and training through the Adoption Council of Ontario as well as Jeff Noble’s FASD Success: Caregiver Kickstart Coaching Program.

She looks forward to walking alongside others on their journeys and helping to continue building supportive networks grounded in empathy, shared experience and trust.
