Elliott Tree Farm—Maple Syrup Experience
Join us for a warm and memorable outing at Elliott Tree Farm’s Maple Syrup Experience!
This event is open to families with children of all ages—little ones, teens, and even adult children are all welcome to join in the fun.
We’ll begin the day at the Horse Barn Canteen with an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast topped with pure Ontario maple syrup, served with bacon or maple sausage and your choice of warm or cold drinks. After breakfast, we’ll take a short walk along the sugarbush trail to the Sugar Shack, where you can see firsthand how maple syrup is made. Check sap buckets in the forest and taste raw sap, partially cooked sap, maple sugar, and freshly made maple taffy over snow.
We’ll wrap up at the historic 1850 Heritage Barn and Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario, where families can explore displays, learn about this beloved Canadian tradition, and sample award-winning maple syrup. Maple treats and products will also be available for purchase.
This family-friendly experience is a wonderful way to enjoy the outdoors together and celebrate maple season.
Please note: the sugarbush trail is not stroller-, wheelchair-, or mobility-device–friendly due to muddy and snowy conditions. Toboggans are available for little ones.
