AFCCA Support Group for people who identify as fathers with Al Coates

Are you a someone who identifies as a father experiencing AFCCA (Aggression Toward Family/Caregivers in Childhood and Adolescence)? Are you interested in learning tools and strategies you can draw on in these situations? 
 
Please join us for a unique eight-session opportunity to meet others on a similar journey. This group will be facilitated by Al Coates, a U.K. Social Worker/Non-Violent Resistance Advanced Practitioner and loving adoptive Dad. Discussions will include: 

  • Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) informed parenting 

  • Social norms around fatherhood and how this can relate to AFCCA 

  • Supporting your partner (for fathers in two-parent homes) 

  • The value of peer support and where to find it

This group is free of charge and open to the Adopt4Life community. Monthly meetings will be on Mondays from noon until 1:30 p.m. EST,  on these dates:
