We are hiring a Bilingual Digital Marketing Specialist (Remote)!

Role details:

Location: Remote (Work virtually anywhere in Ontario) Occasional in-person collaborative work is required, as outlined below.

Salary: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week

Reports to: Marketing and Communications Manager

Purpose of the role:

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, creating, and executing online campaigns and programs that grow awareness of Interwoven Connections’ brand and family support programs.

This role focuses on developing content across digital channels including social media, email marketing, website, and paid and organic search to reach diverse audiences across Ontario and Canada. The Digital Marketing Specialist ensures all content is inclusive, bilingual (English and French), and aligned with Interwoven Connections’ mission to connect and support caregivers.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and web that drive awareness, engagement, and conversions

  • Create bilingual (English and French) digital content including graphics, videos, blog posts, landing pages, and newsletters that tell Interwoven’s story in accessible and engaging ways

  • Manage and grow social media platforms by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to community conversations

  • Build and optimize email campaigns through list segmentation, subject line testing, and performance tracking to increase engagement

  • Update and maintain website content while applying SEO best practices to improve visibility and user experience

  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights to inform future strategies

  • Support paid media campaigns through planning, targeting, and performance monitoring to ensure effective return on investment

  • Ensure brand consistency and accessibility across all digital materials in alignment with Interwoven’s mission and values

  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Manager, program staff, and community partners to align digital efforts with organizational goals

What makes you a great fit:

  • 2–3 years of direct digital marketing experience. Nonprofit experience is an asset

  • Degree or diploma in digital marketing, communications, or a related field is an asset but not required

  • Strong content creation skills including video, infographics, presentation decks, webinars, and reports

  • Experience creating content for social media and managing scheduling and reporting platforms such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social

  • Proficiency in SEO best practices and website management, including platforms such as Squarespace

  • Experience using Google Analytics or similar tools to track and report on digital performance

  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp for campaign building and list management

  • Familiarity with basic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French, written and spoken, is required. Translation experience is an asset

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, inclusive design, and culturally responsive communication

  • Creative, detail-oriented, and data-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

  • Passion for community impact and supporting diverse families and caregivers

  • Three weeks of paid vacation, increasing to four weeks after five years of service and five weeks after six years
