Andrew is, with his wife Carolyn, the parent of two teenage boys, both adopted from Ethiopia. He is trained as a lawyer and a philosopher and holds degrees from McGill, MIT, and the University of Toronto. He is currently a Professor of Law at the University of Western Ontario’s Faculty of Law and has held a number of academic leadership positions during his time at Western, most recently as Acting Dean of Law. He is keen to use his personal experiences and academic expertise to support and advocate on behalf of adoptive families.
