Lisa Bennett

Lisa is a proud mother of a son who joined her family through adoption. She began her adoption journey when she and her husband were the chosen forever family for their son in 2016. Her journey continues as she navigates life’s adventures with him and her family by her side.  

Lisa is a Registered Early Childhood Educator with over 20 years of experience supporting families and children. Her roles as Resource Consultant and Case Manager have seen her supporting families in many areas. Her work included supporting transition to school, case management meetings, connecting with community partners, navigating screening tools and funding applications, facilitating trainings and much more. 

Lisa has a great deal of experience and knowledge with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and learning disabilities. As a peer connector she hopes to continue to provide supports and advocacy to and for families. She has a real passion for helping others wherever they may be in their permanency journey, as it is near and dear to her heart.
