[Support Group] AFCCA—Kinship, Peer-Led Support Group

Aggression toward Family/Caregivers in Childhood and Adolescence (AFCCA) often leaves families feeling misunderstood, blamed, and isolated. When aunts, uncles, grandparents, siblings, or other family /community members are caring for a child expressing aggressive behaviour, there can be additional challenges that arise from needing to navigate extended family dynamics and complex, multi-generational relationships. This monthly, peer-facilitated support group provides a virtual space that allows our community of kinship families, in all forms, to learn from one another and share their perspectives. This is a support group for caregivers registered with Interwoven Connections.

Dates: 4th Tuesday of each month, 11:30am-1:00pm
